A connected and passionate advocate for sustainable aquaculture and fishing, Meghan leads and develops seafood producers and farmers through strategic sales and marketing campaigns across North America. As founder and president of Pearl Oceans, Meghan’s mission is to help create and sell innovative aquaculture and sustainable seafood brands from around the world.
Maria has a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Iceland and an AMP from IESE Business school in Barcelona. Before joining Niceland Seafood, Maria held a position as Vice President at the global pharmaceutical company Alvogen and as Managing Director for its local operations in Iceland. Maria serves on the board of the Federation of Icelandic Industries.

Patrick is a seafood sales professional with a deep passion for life, nature and the ocean. Attending the University of Miami for undergraduate and graduate school, he earned a degree in Marine Affairs and Policy, with specialization in Marine Aquaculture. Patrick has spent his career advancing aquaculture operations in every aspect from sales, to production through his expertise in sustainable aquaculture.
Director of US Logistics & QA
William Polo managed seafood sales & logistics for exporters from around the globe. He is an expert in extensive logistic planning and execution, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with his accounts. He knows the meaning of an honest day’s work, because he, himself started on the ground floor of his family’s seafood business. He did everything from building maintenance to receiving product and inventory control — which he credits for giving him the passionate ability to see the “bigger picture,” and fix any breakdowns in logistics.
