About Icelandic Ocean Perch
The bright, red-orange skin of ocean perch gives this fish a distinctive appearance when pan-seared. Ocean perch is a slow-growing fish that feeds mostly off of crustaceans that are abundant in the waters surrounding Iceland. In fact, Iceland is the only MSC-certified fishery for ocean perch.
Mild and sweet, with depth and buttery richness.

Moderately firm and lean. The skin is very thin, which allows for an incredibly crispy skin when seared.
Ocean perch is a great alternative in dishes that call for snapper, bass or rockfish. The fillets are perfect for pan-searing, broiling, and baking, and the mild flavor pairs well with herbs and spices alike.
